Essex Industries is excited to participate in the Air Carriers Purchasing Conference (ACPC), at the Hilton Anatole, Dallas, TX, taking place August 24 – 27, 2024.

ACPC is known as the most productive aviation conference globally and offers aviation experts unparalleled networking opportunities with an extensive business and social agenda. The Conference and the Aviation Networking Forum is a dynamic one-day trade show that gives professionals time to meet and start new opportunities.

Essex will showcase the industry-leading Essex Crewmember PBE, a self-contained, portable, protective breathing device designed to safeguard aircraft crewmembers from the effects of smoke, carbon dioxide, harmful gases, and oxygen deficiency. The Essex PBE provides protection as crewmembers manage in-flight fire, smoke, or fume emergencies and assist in the evacuation of passengers.

The Essex PBE holds FAA TSO-C116, TSO-C99 approvals as well as CAA, EASA, CAAC and ANAC approvals.

Essex Industries is excited to share the success of its participation in the Farnborough International Airshow 2024. The event was a great opportunity to connect with the global aerospace and defense community, meet with customers and business partners, and showcase Essex’s capabilities, including precision manufacturing and assembly.

The United States Air Force, Navy, and Army significantly increased their aircraft presence at the show, and Essex products were on board every participating aircraft, including the B52, F-15, F-35, F-16M, F-35A, P-8, AH-64E, UH-60V, C-130J, and MQ-9. This underscores the company’s commitment and contribution to the industry.

Throughout the week of the show, our team interacted with visitors, made new contacts, and presented our platform controls, aircraft components, emergency breathing equipment, and liquid oxygen systems. The booth featured an arcade game where players could test their reaction times, compete for a place on the leaderboard, and win cash. Some Essex customers at the show, had the opportunity to send messages of thanks to the Essex employees for their hard work and dedication.

Farnborough International Airshow 2024 reported its busiest event in recent decades, with a 33% increase on visitors, 57% increase on delegation. It served as an excellent platform for networking and exploring new business opportunities, welcoming over 100,000 visitors, 1500 exhibitors from over 60 countries, 90 civil and military aircraft, over 390 civil, military and space delegations.

Essex Industries is excited to announce the successful consolidation of two manufacturing buildings into a new and larger facility in Huntington Beach, CA.

The consolidation is enhancing production efficiency and customer service. Essex has expanded its capabilities, including the addition of a temperature-controlled inspection room. The office space has been streamlined, and the now 22,500-square-foot facility includes increased space for dedicated aerospace and medical assembly areas.

This move brings immediate operational efficiencies to Essex Industries while positioning the company for future growth and expansion opportunities. They remain dedicated to providing high-quality products and industry-leading solutions.
