7 LITER LOX CONVERTER

The 7 Liter LOX Converter is designed as a modular system to supply oxygen to one or several patients on aircraft transport.  The converter can replace a high pressure cylinder installation on a helicopter and mount in the same envelope.  When space is not available, this unit can also be installed on the outside of the aircraft.

The 7 Liter LOX Converter supplies up to 6,020 gaseous liters of oxygen at 75 to 120 psig.  Weighing 21 pounds empty and 39 pounds when full, the converter has one quick disconnect port for the external heat exchanger, valves and plumbing, as well as one quick disconnect for the external LOX quantity gauge.  The 7 Liter LOX Converter has been tested to MIL-STD-810.

5 LITER LOX CONVERTER (REMOVABLE INSTALLATION)

The 5 Liter LOX Converter supplies up to 4300 gaseous liters of oxygen to an aircraft pilot and crew at 75 to 120 psig. This compact converter weighs approximately 16 pounds empty and 29 pounds full.  A two-piece mounting base with a single wing nut provides easy removal from the aircraft.  The converter has one quick disconnect port for the external heat exchanger, valving and plumbing.  A second quick disconnect port is included for the overboard vent, as well as two quick disconnects for the external LOX quantity gauge.  The converter is designed to MIL-DTL-19328 and tested to MIL-STD-810.

25 LITER LOX CONVERTER (FIXED INSTALLATION)

The 25 Liter LOX Converter supplies up to 21,500 gaseous liters of oxygen to a aircraft pilot and crew at 300 to 380 psig. This base-mounted, compact converter weighs approximately 33 pounds empty and 96 pounds full.  An interface panel connects all the necessary external plumbing, including the fill/combo valve, heat exchanger, overboard vent and LOX quantity gauge. The converter is designed to MIL-DTL-25666/7 and tested to MIL-STD-810.

A 25 Liter Lox Converter is also available on a base with vibration mounts, designed to MIL-DTL-25666/5, tested to MIL-STD-810 as P/N 10C-0001-26 (GCU-17/A).

5 LITER LOX CONVERTER (FIXED INSTALLATION)

The 5 Liter LOX Converter supplies up to 4300 gaseous liters of oxygen to an aircraft pilot and crew at 75 to 120 psig.  This top-mounted, compact converter weighs approximately 12 pounds empty and 25 pounds full.  An interface panel connects all the necessary external plumbing, including the fill/combo valve, heat exchanger, overboard vent and LOX quantity gauge.  The converter is designed to MIL-DTL-25666/4 and tested to MIL-STD-810.

10 LITER LOX CONVERTER (REMOVABLE INSTALLATION)

The 10 Liter LOX Converter supplies up to 8,600 gaseous liters of oxygen to an aircraft pilot and crew at 70 psig. This compact converter weighs approximately 18 pounds empty and 44 pounds full. The converter is designed to MIL-DTL-19803 and tested to MIL-STD-810.

A 10 Liter Ready to Install (RTI) system is also available, consisting of a 10 liter LOX converter with heat exchanger and regulator mounted inside a sheetmetal enclosure.

OXYGEN GENERATOR AND LIQUEFIER (OGL)

The Oxygen Generator and Liquefier (OGL) is a portable oxygen generating and liquefaction system, capable of producing up to 11 liters per minute of gaseous 93% USP oxygen for medical use or 1 liter of LOX per hour.  Up to 40 liters of LOX can be stored in the internal tank until needed. The system features a user-friendly control panel and an insulated transfer hose which will work with any portable LOX device having a standard CRU-50 fill connection.  Weighing 740 pounds empty, 840 pounds when full, the OGL is mounted on a stainless steel fork lift skid with retractable wheels for easy maneuverability.  Eight tie-down rings facilitate transport in an aircraft or ground vehicle.   The OGL runs on standard 208-240 Volts, single phase, 30 Amp power and has been tested to MIL-STD-810. FDA 510(k) Clearance Number K131990.

ECAT Contract Number SPE2D1-16-D-0007.

The OGL can be used with all Essex LOX Converters, BMOS, BMOS Filling Station, MMOS, NPTLOX and PTLOX.
