LIN FILLER VALVES

LIN Filler Valves are specifically designed to service liquid nitrogen (LIN) systems for military aircraft.  They automatically open and close when activated by the mating component.  Pin quantity and size variations are provided for proper coupling.  Valves can be modified to meet specific customer requirements. Perform in accordance with MIL-PRF-38201.

SPLIT FLAPPER FUEL VALVE

The Split Flapper Fuel Valve provides a gravity filling operation for fuel and prevents backflow in the system.  The valve shown is one of three sizes designed and qualified for the F-35 Lightning II fuel system.

In addition to flapper valves, Essex also manufactures poppet, swing-arm and ball valves ranging from ¼” to 2” diameter for checking and relieving aircraft fuel, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

SOLENOID-OPERATED RADAR COOLING VALVE

The Solenoid-Operated Radar Cooling Valve is designed for pilot operation on the F-16.  When opened, it allows cooler ECS air to flow into the avionics bay to prevent electronics from overheating.

ON/OFF OXYGEN VALVE

This Oxygen Valve, used by the aircraft commander and cargo master, is the primary on/off selector for crew and passenger oxygen supply on the C-17.

AIR SELECTOR VALVE

The Air Selector Valve is a two position on/off valve that selects between two different pressure or vacuum sources to run instruments on an aircraft.

CRYOGENIC HIGH PRESSURE CLOSING VALVE

Cryogenic High Pressure Closing Valves are designed for use on Air Force and Navy liquid oxygen converters as well as other cryogenics systems with operating pressures of less than 300 PSIG.  The pressure closing valve allows the cryogenic system to maintain operating pressure while in use.

CRYOGENIC LOW PRESSURE CLOSING VALVE

Cryogenic Low Pressure Closing Valves are designed for use on Air Force and Navy liquid oxygen converters as well as other cryogenics systems with operating pressures of less than 130 PSIG.  The pressure closing valve allows the cryogenic system to maintain operating pressure while in use.

GASEOUS OXYGEN QUICK DISCONNECT COUPLING

The Gaseous Oxygen Quick Disconnect Coupling allows for the rapid disconnect and connection of aircraft LOX converters to enable servicing.  This coupling is designed in accordance with MIL-C-21049.

HIGH PRESSURE FILL KIT

The High Pressure Fill Kit connects the OGL with a high pressure oxygen compressor to fill high pressure cylinders with 93% USP oxygen.  The kit includes a 20′ low pressure oxygen hose and a 4′ high pressure braided hose with a relief valve, manual vent valve and pressure gauge.  The high pressure oxygen compressor is not included.  The items are packaged in a protective storage case.
