The Cryogenic Relief Valve series is designed for use on Air Force and Navy liquid oxygen converters as well as other cryogenic systems. Valves are vailable in a wide range of pressure settings to accommodate a variety of system requirements. Meets all MIL-PRF-9050 requirements. Stainless steel ball and a Teflon seat arrangement provides zero leakage at re-seat pressures. ANPT threaded inlet and outlet ports, internal filter and corrosion resistant steel construction.
Cryogenic High Pressure Closing Valves are designed for use on Air Force and Navy liquid oxygen converters as well as other cryogenics systems with operating pressures of less than 300 PSIG. The pressure closing valve allows the cryogenic system to maintain operating pressure while in use.
Cryogenic Low Pressure Closing Valves are designed for use on Air Force and Navy liquid oxygen converters as well as other cryogenics systems with operating pressures of less than 130 PSIG. The pressure closing valve allows the cryogenic system to maintain operating pressure while in use.
LOX Drain Valves are designed for use with the Air Force and Navy liquid oxygen converters. The drain valve allows the LOX system on-board an aircraft to be completely drained.
The LOX Quick Disconnect Coupling allows for the rapid disconnect and connection of aircraft LOX converters to enable servicing. This self-sealing coupling is designed in accordance with MIL-C-21049.
The High Pressure Fill Kit connects the OGL with a high pressure oxygen compressor to fill high pressure cylinders with 93% USP oxygen. The kit includes a 20′ low pressure oxygen hose and a 4′ high pressure braided hose with a relief valve, manual vent valve and pressure gauge. The high pressure oxygen compressor is not included. The items are packaged in a protective storage case.
The Battlefield Oxygen Sustainment System (BOSS) was designed for the United States Air Force Special Operations to generate, store, fill and deploy LOX. Currently, the BOSS features four Essex Products, which are also available separately: The Oxygen Generator and Liquefier (OGL); the Backpack Medical Oxygen System Filling Station (BMOS-FS); the Mounted Medical Oxygen System (MMOS); and the Backpack Medical Oxygen System (BMOS).
The BMOS-FS Hose Kit connects the MMOS to the BMOS-FS for refilling.
Applications include Medevac fixed wing, rotary wing and ground transport, as well as parachutist and ground evacuation.
The 50 Gallon LOX cart is a mobile liquid oxygen storage tank assembly with a maximum operating pressure of 65 psig. A retractable front wheel allows for towing and increased mobility in the field. The cart also features a manual parking brake, lift/tie down rings and an insulated transfer hose, which will work with any portable LOX device having a standard CRU-50 fill connection, including all Essex LOX Converters, BMOS, BMOS-FS, MMOS, NPTLOX and PTLOX. The 50 Gallon LOX Cart meets and/or exceeds functional and environmental requirements of MIL-PRF-38170. It is tested to MIL-STD-810 and conforms to mobility requirements of SAE-A58090 (MIL-M-8090, Type II, Group A equipment).
The 50 Gallon LOX Cart can be used with all Essex LOX Converters, BMOS, BMOS Filling Station, MMOS, NPTLOX and PTLOX.
The Backpack Medical Oxygen System Filling Station Hose Kit connects the MMOS to the BMOS-FS for refilling. The kit includes a relief valve, burst disc, CRU-50 LOX filler valve and CRU-59 LOX filler valve attached to a 4′ cryogenic transfer hose. Items are packaged in a protective storage case.
ECAT Contract Number SPE2D1-16-D-0007.
Low Pressure Cylinders operate at pressures of 500 psig or less and can be used as oxygen reserve tanks, walk-around bottles, plenum tanks or in a variety of other applications. Single and multiple port configurations are available in a range of sizes. Fabricated of stainless steel, these cylinders are constructed per MIL-DTL-5886.
